Q. But Jay I’ve tried countless diets before and always fail, how will this work?
I understand because many of my clients have been referred to me because they are either confused or frustrated because their current plan or half-hazard approach is not working. There’s only one reason you may have failed in the past – you were using the wrong approach.

Q. Jay tell me how long are my workouts going to be?
As a rule plan for at least forty to fifty minutes depending on the phase you are in and how you are doing overall. Remember the workouts will be challenging and fun and I always check in with you to see where you are nutritionally and will help you with motivation and hold you accountable for staying on track.
Q. So Jay tell me how much will it cost?
Remember your health is your wealth. Depending on what program you are looking for will determine the investment. If you invest your money wisely you are secure. Just like with your body if you invest wisely now you can save thousands of dollars over by reduced health related costs, time at the Doctors office and by having expert help in keeping your number one asset safe and secure…YOU.
Q. So Jay I’m wondering how long will it take for me to see results?
That is entirely up to you and how motivated you are. If you are fully committed to your fitness plan and don’t splurge on junk when you go out to eat, etc. Yo can see progress in as little as one week. you’ll see progress within one week. This also depends on the program you decide to go with. Training 2 days a week is not as good as 4 days a week.
However, if you are following the plan and sticking to your nutrition program no matter how often you choose to train you can expect to see significant progress toward your goals within 4-8 weeks.
Also depending on your fitness level when we start and your overall goals can affect how fast you progress as well. Obviously if you want to lose 50 pounds, 4 weeks will bring significant progress, but it may still take much longer to reach your ultimate goal.
Q. Jay I hired a personal trainer before and all we did was cardio and some weights and stretching, is that what you do?
No. I will make the workouts fun, challenging and effective and tailored to your goal and help your body improve in all aspects. Remember I am not just your personal trainer, I am your fitness coach. It’s all about coaching you into adopting healthier habits and staying fit and looking your best..
I am here to answer all your nutrition and fitness questions, educate you in the best exercise for your body, motivate you and keep you accountable. With my help you’ll get results and become healthier and feel more energetic and healthy.
Q. How many days a week should I meet with you Jay?
That really depends on your specific goals and current fitness and health. With most people I prefer to start at 4 times a week and adjust it down from there. So for the first month or two we can work 4 times a week and get really focused and then cut it back if we decide to after a couple of months.
Q. Should I work out on my own besides training with you Jay?
That all depends on your goals and your health and my specific recommendations. I do have clients do some cardio, stretching and nutritional homework from time to time. Any activity you can do on your own is encouraged to see maximal results and keep you young and healthy.
Q. Jay is cardio better for burning off body fat?
This is a common misconception and why so many of you fail to get fit and tone and stay that way. I find most people try and do endless
hours of cardio trying to lose weight with no results, before they are referred to me. Just look around your own social circle to see examples of this. There are numerous people lined up on the treadmills at all the major fitness studios and gyms who aren’t reaching their goals.
Cardio is certainly an important part of an overall fitness, and when performed correctly, is very effective in weight loss and improving overall fitness. But without the strength training t to help develop lean muscle tissue, excessive cardio will do more harm than good.
Research shows that the most effective way to get rid of fat is through building lean muscle tissue which helps you burn fat 24 hours a day. This is what we will do together through a proper strength training program that will develop lean muscle tissue.
